Brandon Archaeological dig.

Did you know that there was an archaeological dig in Brandon in the early 80's? If you are interested, and have the time, then the archaeological report into the 1982 dig by the river is online. It is a very detailed report, running to over 400 pages, but worth taking a peek at. The report shows the extent of the Saxon settlement which included a church, causeway and other buildings.
